The north eastern city is the 3rd largest district of Nagaland has a significant health care infrastructure establishment with the 1 district, 3 CHCs, 15 PHCs and 71 subcenters totalling  90 government health centres. 

 

District Hospital 

Mon district hospital has a capacity of 100 beds. With the help of non government agencies Mon district hospital was refurbished in 2010. Now the hospital has a pharmacy, a biomedical waste management system, integrated laboratory, state of the art delivery room and an operation theatre, a special chest ward and a Designated Microscopy Centre.
